Sports therapy

Sports therapy treats injuries related to physical activity, from the acute injury to the return to play. Treatment also aims to lower the risk of re-injury.

What is it?

A sports injury affects both the body and motivation. Sports therapy assesses the injury, but also the demands of your sport and the way you move.

The treatment plan follows clear stages: control the pain, regain mobility and strength, then practise the movements specific to your sport before returning to play.

What we treat

  • Ankle and knee sprains
  • Muscle strains and tears
  • Tendinopathies (Achilles, patellar tendon, shoulder)
  • Pain at the front of the knee (patellofemoral pain)
  • Shin splints
  • Return to sport after ACL reconstruction

Who is it for?

  • Athletes of all levels, recreational or competitive
  • Active people injured during physical activity
  • Young athletes (with a parent present)
  • People returning to sport after surgery
